Keepin it Together During The Quarantine

The.Struggle.is.Real We get it!! This quarantine can get even the best of us in a real slump. Keeping a routine can do wonders for our mental health and physical well being and keep a sense of normal in this crazy time.

Here are some tips for keeping a routine to keep some sanity and not pack on the lbs.

Get up early and get dressed. I encourage you to not wear sweats all day! This small detail can make a huge difference in how you feel and spend your day. You are more likely to stay active if you are not lounging around in your sweats!

Nourish your body and your mind. It is important to remember to eat healthily and stay hydrated. Avoid boredom eating and keep healthy snacks in visible sight to avoid temptations of the naughty snacks!

Stay active! We can’t stress this one enough. Not only for your physical body but your emotional wellbeing. Keep a workout schedule and plan your workouts out for the week. Take advantage of the surplus of online exercise classes available. Many of these are free and can be found on YouTube channel Kai Boyer Fitness. Click here to subscribe.

You can make a solid exercise routine from home with little to no equipment!

Keep a clean workspace area. Having a dedicated work area free of distractions can help you get into the grove of working at home. Set timers and try to be free of distractions until the timers are done. Dedicate a set time to each task. This will help you accomplish more throughout the workday and keep you on track. Remember to add spurts of active time into your workday. Get up and stretch or do a quick 5 minute workout video!

Stay productive. We can use this time to make huge leaps in all of the tasks that we have been putting off. Organizing, cleaning, that DIY project..get it done! Schedule out your Netflix and Chill time to not become consumed.

Take a step back and focus on the positive. Taking five minutes each day to write down things you are grateful for can lower stress levels and create a positive mindset. During this period, build time into your routine to practice positivity or express gratitude.

We are wishing you well during this time and can’t wait to be back in the gym with you! Remember that if you need extra accountability with have online programs available. Click Here for Online Programs!
